How long will my order be in progress?

I ordered yesterday around 2-3pm eastern time, check today and it is now 7 pm and my order is still in progress? I ordered with standard shipping but I'm just wondering when it will be shipped, it's been well over 24 hours for them to process. I always shop at Sephora and I'm a bit disappointed with their online service. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue or if it's common online?  Payment went through perfectly, the gift card was charged and so was my visa card.

Hi @Anonymous For non-Flash orders, it takes 1-2 business days to process and ship your order. If it was placed later in the day, it will likely ship out on Monday.

I made an order yesterday and just got the flash 2 day shipping and was charged twice! With and without! It is shipping currently but I called and they told me the one I authorized with the flash 2 day shipping added on is being bumped off? And will be charged without?

@shellbae96 Sorry for the confusion!  When an order is placed on Sephora.com that includes the one-time annual fee for the Flash 2-day shipping program, it will appear as two separate pending transactions - one for $10 which is the cost of the Flash 2-day shipping fee, and another for the remaining cost of the merchandise including merchandise tax.

The pending transaction for the total amount of the order will drop off within 1-7 business days and you will see that you are only charged once the Flash shipping fee and once for the remaining cost of your merchandise purchase

@keelybt That would be understandable but it’s not $10 it’s actually $88 and $78 right after eachother... like I get it but I’m also paying for the product twice

I placed 3 orders yesterday for a total of $130 around 8pm PST (I have 2 day flash shipping). 2 of them got shipped this morning and the 3rd got shipped later this afternoon. One of them will be coming from Memphis, TN and supposed to get here on the 13th (whenever my stuff comes from this distribution center I never ever get samples so I already know not to expect them) and the other 2 coming from Salt Lake and will get here on the 12th, one of them already made it to Idaho (no logic there but oh well) and they almost always give me the samples I chose or substitute it with something else.

Idk what's going on with Sephora. I also placed two orders yesterday and have 2 Day Flash Shipping. Everything was going fine, my order went from placed to in progress. The money was taken from my credit card. Then today my two orders were cancelled because of Unsuccessful Authorization.??? I KNOW there is money on my cards, for I just made a payment lol. PLUS, I've used both of those cards before with no problem. These are the 5th orders that were cancelled on me with various cards. They go into progress then nope. I have no trouble with Nordstrom or Macy's or Ulta. But the past two weeks with Sephora, it's been horrible. I've even had to order through Jcpenny to get my order through to Sephora. SMH. Ridiculous!

Right? I ordered online since I thought it would be easier. Apparently not, and now I'm just upset and considering taking my money elsewhere and canceling my order. never had issues like this with Ulta and other indie make up stores. At least those indie stores are honest and tell me it may take up to 5 days in total. But with Sephora considering they have bigger stock makeup I expected better communication and customer service.  I'm just heavily disappointed and feel like I wasted my money. It's ridiculous and they should realize it's a huge issue. 😕
