How do I know if I have 2 accounts?

Hello! I don't know if I have 2 accounts because when I was at the store the cashier said I had an account but when I tried to log in the app I never received the email to reset my password. I have a receipt that is supposed to be linked to my account but I had to open a new account with my current email and want to transfer the points to this new account. Please help!
