Horrible 1st time IN STORE experience. Will NEVER RETURN

Today was the very first time I ever stepped foot into Sephora. I was excited to visit but shortly after I arrived my excitement went completely away. I was in the store for about 15 mins and employees walked right past me several times. Not one person welcomed me into the store. I witnessed other customers having to chase down employees for assistance only for the employee to showcase a demeanor of irritation and being bothered. As if WE, the customers was inconveniencing them. I recently escaped a mentally and physically abusive relationship. A relationship where I never felt valued or that I was beautiful. I started a new job recently and wanted to fee beautiful, alive and myself again. I suffer from oily and sensitive skin along with facial redness. I was looking for a skin tint that was light weight but gave great coverage. Oil control setting powders and sprays. Along with a nice body mist and lipstick. Along with the tools I would need to pull of a natural look that covers up all my facial flaw and imperfections. I signed up and joined the community and was eager to spend more than the $75 for the 500 points. I wanted to treat myself but because I don't wear makeup or even know where to start I needed help.

 

I tried to get (3) employees attentions and again was greeted with hostility and irritation. Finally one employee asked me if I needed help and before I say anything she was called away on her headset. Thinking she would come find me once she was finished. I was quickly disappointed. I then found her talking to another employee. AGAIN with the hostility and facial expressions of irritation and coldness. Her energy was not giving. I started to walk away and she proceeded to "try" to offer help saying she couldn't walk me around or follow me but she would find someone who could because she was the manager. AS a manager you provide the same customer service as your entire team.  The entire time I was in there all she was doing was walking around. So now you want to try to find me someone. 

 

I had about $180 worth of products in my had like lipsticks and body mist and an avocado moisturizer. This manager and her entire team turned me all the way off. I put all of the products back on the shelf where I got them and left.

 

The sad part is, I work for the management company for the mall this Sephora is located in. I will NEVER step foot into this location again. Once you lose me as a customer I will never return. Sephora do better. Is this how customers should be treated? Why have 10 sales people on the floor who have zero customer service, hospitality, conversation or even a smile? Very, very disappointing.
