Holiday Sets Preview Event

I RSVPd for the event which was originally scheduled for a week or two ago but was cancelled due to anticipated weather events from hurricane Irma. A week ago I received another invite stating the event was rescheduled for today. That my name was on the list still and I did not need to do anything else. Well, I showed up at the store at 830 this morning, along with several other women, only to find the store closed and all the lights off. I'd already paid for parking and ended up standing outside for nearly an hour because apparently "corporate" canceled the event for the previous date but didn't tell the store, so they went and had it, only one person showed up. Then, they rescheduled it. and still did not tell The store. The half dozen of us that showed up today had the "privilege" (note the sarcasm) of being let in the store 20 min before it opened to go shopping. The staff wheeled out two carts with a dozen or so holiday items on it. THAT'S IT! So, no event, just get since you're here you can shop. REALLY, that's how Sephora treats us? I spend a lot of money with you and have ROUGE status but I fail to see how myself or any other VIP gets treated any better than someone walking in off the street.
