My daughter had received a $50 Sephora giftcard for her birthday.. when we went to use the giftcard for the first time in the store, they scratched the card# and Pin #when we got to the register and they swiped it to find out there was $0.44 left.. the card had never been used, and never scratched off .. even the cashier thought it was extremely odd and felt there was an issue.. she advised me to call the # on the back of the card which I did.. to find out they told me there’s nothing they can do except for me to contact my financial institution (but it was a gift for my 8y/o daughter so I was unable to do that) as far as I’m concerned that’s terrible business and I will never shop here again.. i will also post on my social media the terrible business that is being conducted by Sephora if this problem does not get resolved in a timely fashion
