Google pay error (for gift card)

Hello,

I tried to buy a gift card and I selected Google pay. It gave an error (i.e. Payment declined). So I tried once more and it failed again. After checking in my google wallet, it does say that the 2 payments were successful. And it does also show in my bank account.

But I did not receive any email or any other information from Sephora saying the gift card will rightfully be sent to the recipient.

Is there a chance the gift card will be delivered or will I receive a refund for the failed purchases? Is it a known issue with Google pay?
