Gift return!

I was gifted a Daisy toilette fragrance for Christmas from Sephora and I tired to exchange for the Daisy perfume fragrance but was told I couldn’t exchange or do anything if I didn’t have a receipt. The person who gifted it to me no longer has the receipt. I have returned something without a receipt and have had no issues. What’s going??

It’s almost March! I would bet money that Sephora will not let you return this item. Way past the 30 day window for a return and way past 60 day window for store credit. Maybe you can regift it to a friend.

@toniaa The store does need to verify items in order to accept the return. If the purchaser no longer has the receipt, any of our free standing stores should be able to verify the purchase using the purchaser's Beauty Insider account information.

What if I am not sure if they have a Beauty Insider account?

Can I give them a phone number and maybe a date of purchase?

Hello @kimchiwitch - If they did not have a Beauty Insider account, the only other way would be to look up the transaction if a credit card was used!  If you do not have either of these, I would reach out to your local store directly for further assistance.
