Gift cards in Sephora favourite sets

Hi,

I've recently come across the Sephora favourites perfume sets, in which you receive a gift card to redeem it against a full-size product. 

I wanted to know if we can actually redeem it in Canada, as the packaging mentions it can be redeemed only in the U.S.

Appreciate if someone could please clear this doubt.
