Gift card

I have a gift card that I got this past Christmas and I have used some of it. Well I forgot that I had it so I decided to check my balance and it showed I still had like $25 left on it and I went on the Sephora website to purchase something and it is saying invalid pin. After reading around trying to figure out what was going on I noticed a lot of people saying stuff about an 8 digit pin. The pin on my gift card is only 4 digits. I don’t know if that’s why it’s jot working. But I need help with this because I am getting frustrated.
