 I am probably not alone with this do not buy a Sephora gift card or give as a gift. I have been given the run around for multiple days stating that it’s treated as cash and can’t be helped.

A gift card was given to my for Christmas 2022 and I decided to use it recently 2023 when I attempted to use it at a Sephora they said no funds pin had not been scratched the cashier was the one that scratched it off. I proceeded to contact customer service and was routed to speak to the store where it was originally purchased which I did just to be told nothing they can do. Save your money and go elsewhere or use cash if possible. I was told by customer service it was used on 12/15/22 when I recited the card for Christmas 12/25/22.  It’s unfortunate that there are people abusing the system and Sephora does not have a system I. Place to verify fraudulent activity.
