Gift card scammed

I received a giftcard for mothers day and decided to use it in the store.  Finding out that it was used already!  It was still on the darned thing from the store.  I am so angry right now and I just get the condescending "gee, we understand" from the people at the sephora gift card customer service.  Has anyone contacted an attorney yet?  Or are we going to wait until they bleed us dry??

Same thing happened to me today recieved them for my birthday and went to use them today and they told me someone used them online
