Gift card says invalid

I have a $100 gift card from Christmas that will not work through online purchase, it just keeps saying gift card is invalid, I have tried e-mailing sephora customer service and they tell me to call their phone number which is a 55 minute wait due to covid. I work in emergency services, 12 hour shifts, and simply cannot wait on the phone for 55 minutes. Can this not be dealt with over e-mail? I would like to take advantage of the rouge 20% off while it's still available. (I have already checked to make sure the numbers are accurate, have tried clearing web browser and cookies, have tried on both the app and the browser website). Any help would be greatly appreciated, please!
