Gift card number scratched off

I accidentally scratched too much on a gift card so part of the card number is missing. The PIN is intact. Barcode is showing. I go to a store and the woman tells me she cant scan it and I need to call customer service to get the missing numbers. I call customer service and they tell me they can’t help. She said that the store shouldve scanned it.

can someone please help? This seems ridiculous that something as silly as a few numbers being over scratched would make this card invalid.

Same problem.  Got a 125.00 gift card for my content creator son. Missing the 4th number. Rest is intact. Along with the pin. I told him to try different numbers until it works. He's got a 2 day ban from the site. Can this be fixed?

I’m having the same problem… I am missing 3 digits on my gift card because the adhesive damaged the card when it was removed.  Please help!
