Gift card fraud

I received a gift card and went to use it the other night and to my surprise there was a zero balance so I called customer support and sat on hold for 30+ mins only to be told they can’t help since it wasn’t purchased directly through Sephora. You would think a billion dollar company would be able to do better for their customers. They have a whole page dedicated to gift card scammers, you’d think they would know how to do better to help lower fraud. So frustrating. Back to Ulta I go!
