Gift card balance missing

I checked out with 2 items and entered my gift card numbers, but I never proceeded with the purchase because I didnt know what I wanted. I finally decided today (because of the Beauty Insider 15% discount) and the balance for both of my gift cards are gone!! How can I get them back before the sale is done?? thanks!!
