Gift card balance disappeared

I got a gift card for my birthday and checked the balance a while ago. I was going to use it to pay for my order today but it says it has no money on it. What do i do? Can someone help?

were you able to get any resolution? I seem to get nowhere with customer service. My gift card was locked away so I know that no one else has had access to it.
