Gift card balance $0

I had two gift cards I had just received for my birthday - one for $100 and another for $25. I tried to place an order online and I entered both of the gift cards & they worked showing the -$125 deduction in price. I tried to place the order now & there was an error. Now both gift cards are showing up as having a $0.00 balance ?! The order did not go through as my credit card was not charged and I didn’t receive a confirmation email!! Sephora please fix this I would really like to use those giftcards and I will not be placing my order until I get that $ back.
