Gift card PIN number damaged

Please help my PIN number on gift card scratched off? I see this happens often with Sephora gift cards. Please help

@venturadi, I'm sorry to hear this! The pin is required to redeem the gift card online. However, you may still be able to redeem the gift card in store. I recommend contacting your local Sephora store directly.

Did someone help you? I got my daughter a giftcard and the PIN number only has 2 digits instead of 8!

My daughter has two gift cards. One for $30 and another for $25. Both of them are the paper type and the card number and pin came off on the sticker and cannot be read. I see this is a common issue. Will they work in a store? I’m very disappointed after reading the comments. Seems these cards sold at third party retailers are extremely defective. These were birthday gifts and I’m worried they cannot be used at alk

Were they able to resolve your issue? This has just happened to me too. I feel like this has been a common issue for a while now, and Sephora should make their gift cards better to avoid all this.

I'm having the same problem. I can only read the first 2 digits of the PIN on my daughter's gift card!

Hi Laurie,

I tried to use the card today at a Sephora store, and was told there was $0 balance, although this gift card has never been used. This gift card was purchased from Fred Meyer (I have the receipt), and the associate said this is often a problem with gift cards purchased outside of a Sephora store. Is there any other way to check this card?
