Gift Card PIN Not Working

I received a $25 gift card a few months ago but after double and tripple checking that the card # and pin are typed in correctly I keep getting this error message: Please verify card number & pin and try again. 

I called the number given to have the balance read to me just to confirm that there is still money on the card and when typing in the card number it worked fine, so I think this is a PIN issue. Can anyone help?
