Gift Card Fraud

I’m so disappointed with Sephora. I bought a gift card with cash from Dollar Tree. The receipt shows that the card was activated with cash for $75. I used it at Sephora and it declined. Called Sephora. The card wasn’t activated go to back to Dollar Tree. Dollar Tree says in their system it was activated per the receipt. Go back to Sephora. They continue to basically say not our problem. The receipt says it was activated, you would think that Sephora would take accountability because it’s their company. No…way to go Sephora. That’s the brand you want portray. If I went to Nordstrom, I wouldn’t have this problem.

Wow I literally just typed in gift card bought from dollar tree for Sephora not working and this popped up! I’m literally having the same issue went back and fourth with both stores and nobody can help as I have the receipt saying activated but on Sephora end it’s not activated I’m beyond flabbergasted at their customer service so now I’m out of 40 that card was a gift ! Imagine how she felt going into the store and it declined on her !
