Gift Card Fraud

I recently purchased a Sephora GC from my local Walgreens store for my daughter as a Christmas gift and she went to use it yesterday and was told at the store that it had a zero balance. She tried to reported it to Sephora customer service and she is now being told that they can’t do anything because the card wasn’t purchased direct from them. That’s bs!

No solution to this from Sephora. They basically messaged me to tell me the same thing. The Walgreens store I purchased the gift card from told me they can't do anything and that I need to reach out to Sephora. And Sephora is again stating they can't do anything and that I reach out to Walgreens. So again, no help! Apparently this is a common issue with Sephora gift cards. I will never buy a gift card again!

I'm going thru the same thing. We need to pull these gift cards from the stores.

This isn't right. And we need to take legal action against sephora.
