Foundation exchange

I bought the Fenty foundation in store earlier today and in the store the shade matched but after coming home I have found it’s way too dark! I want to exchange it for a lighter shade but the box has been opened, does this make a difference? Will I still be able to exchange it? I have the receipt!

You can still return products as long as their not overly used and still in the original condition the product came in.
