FleetOptic needs to be shut down

I order an package from Sephora which usually delivers with Canada Post but I I got FleetOptics instead..  Boy did I wish I didn't. My story is not as bad as some that have been given flat-out lies by them but nonetheless- awful customer service.

 

I saw on the tracking app that my package was supposed to be delivered Monday "by end of day". Ok cool. I check back in with the Sephora Tracking and I have the "Exception" notice.. What the hell does that even mean. I contact Sephora who tell me the courrier needs more information about my address as it seems to be missing information. I asked them "How?" since I filled all the fields and NEVER had a problem before. They just dump the issue on FleetOptics and give me their number to call... I don't know about you but if a company can't deliver a package because information is missing they USUALLY call the client and not the other way around.

 

I call FleetOptics and they tell me that no one answered. Ok sure no problem, i'll go pick-it up but they DON'T have a pick-up place. How does a shipping company don't have a pick-up place. I asked if I'll have to take a day off work, they told me yes. I said when will they pass again and they flat-out told me "We don't know but definitely in the next couple of days"... I couldn't believe it. I told them to have the driver call me so I can instruct him on how to just leave it in the building lobby. He calls me the next day and he didn't want to leave the package. He left it with my neighbour. How is it that Amazon has noooo problem just leaving your package at the door  but this company which no one has heard off, doesn't event offer a pick-up option.

Thanks for sharing your story! I have the same issue. The package was supposed to be delivered yesterday then I got an ‘Exception’ message in Sephora app. I’ve been ordering from Sephora app since March this year and never had a problem with Canada Post. Why change the courier, Sephora? I need help in locating my package please.

Does the sephora tracking offer an tracking number at the bottom?
