Fleet Optics

Hi folks,

Any advice on what to do with Fleet Optics? This is honestly hands down the worst delivery experience I've ever had. I don't have time to go to Sephora, so I thought I would just order online. However, I have a job in which I cannot work from home. With Canada Post or FedEx and most other delivery services, you can change the location to a post office nearby to pick up. Fleet Optics has tried to deliver my package and have called me, but as I mentioned I don't work from home and I also work long hours so I'm unable to take their call. How do I best get into contact about my delivery because I simply do not know what to do. They've only come when I'm at work, and ideally I would just prefer if they dropped it off at a post office since we can't seem to get the timing right and I can't get into contact with them. 

I've received an order from them once before, and I didn't love the experience. I didn't love the unmarked car or the fact that this person in an unmarked car was calling/texting me about my shipment. It felt invasive. I would much prefer dealing with Canada Post or FedEx because it's far easier to check and recognize. Why does Sephora use Fleet Optics? I'm honestly considering just not shopping here anymore because the delivery process is such a headache and makes for such an unnecessarily stressful experience. 

 

Sorry for the super long rant - just wondering if other people have similar experiences? Or have any tips on handling this?

I have this experience verbatim every. Single. Time. i stopped ordering online and just had to force myself to visit the store on weekends but it’s hard when there are online exclusive sales. I have never not had a major issue with Fleet Optics. Even when I’ve tried to get it delivered to work they have still found ways to mess the order up…
