Fleet Optics - TERRIBLE SERVICE

Having something delivered via Fleet Optics was the WORST shipping experience I have ever had. No question. 

 

Three failed attempts at delivery all with increasingly useless excuses.

1. Couldn't find me on building directory board

    A. Despite a driver for Amazon being fully capable of finding my name and unit number on the board, this driver claimed I wasn't listed.

 

2. Second driver claimed I did not answer AND that they couldn't find the buzzer board that connects directly to my cell phone but again every other driver in the time living here was fully capable of finding my name and or unit listing.

 

3. This is the craziest of them all. Wildest excuse I have ever heard...The driver claims that traffic is what stopped them from delivering my package! TRAFFIC...in Toronto, this driver couldn't manage the traffic on Bloor well enough to find parking. They claimed other drivers/too many cars wouldn't allow them to get over and park...My place is directly on bloor but has both a laneway for parking and a side street SO CLOSE that is where everyone stops. You can even stop directly on Bloor if you don't care about rules. But this driver claimed traffic was the issue and then didn't even try to solve the issue. Just marked it as 'couldn't access' and planned to send my package back to sender. The only way I even got the info was to reach out to customer service. The driver didn't even attempt to call me to ask about parking. They straight up just didn't want to deal with it.

 

The fact that Sephora continues to use them despite the plethora of complaints and reddit threads and conversations here, all of them expressing frustration, you continue to work with this horrible service. I will second guess any and all future purchases online with Sephora because having them shipped via Fleet Optics makes me not want to go through with it. I don't want to deal with the frustration of it and I really don't want to support a company who has zero regard for customers.

Can you please give more specific directions for allowing messages. I have looked through all the available places and can't seem to find what I need to allow for messages. I am on desktop.

@WallyH, on the desktop browser, please navigate to the Community home page and click the gear/settings icon in the top right corner. It's next to the bell and envelope icons. Please click Preferences > Private Messenger.
