Fleet Optics - Safe Drop Fail

Fleet Optics called to deliver my package. I gave them the proper delivery instructions (how to get into the building, etc.). The delivery person assured me he would leave my package at my door. I got the notification of a safe drop. I checked for my package about 30 mins after receiving his call and cannot find my package anywhere. I checked other floors, all around the lobby/mailroom area. I have asked neighbours as well. This is the second time Fleet Optics has done a terrible job in ensuring efficient delivery. Not sure why Sephora Canada continues to use Fleet Optics, it’s the poorest service.
I would much rather receive my packages through Canada Post. At least with them, I know that my package would be safe at the nearest post office instead of missing.
