Fed Up With Sephora !

ALL I have had are problems with Sephora, their employees and customer service. I am so sick of how rude the employees are and being hung up on multiple times by customer service. So THEN I go to JCP a couple days ago to purchase a giftcard for Sephora and SPECIFICALLY asked if it could be used online and at Sephora stores not inside JCP and the airhead employee said yes! So I purchased it. Well I get home and find out that it CANNOT be used online or Sephora stores not inside JCP. I am so sick of all of this BS with you guys. GET IT TOGETHER !!!!!!!

I’m sorry you had a bad experience. I can honestly say that in my 10 years with Sephora I had unpleasant experiences just a couple of times. If it’s a particular employee or customer service rep that was rude to you than just inform Sephora about this. Constructive criticism is always better than a temper tantrum. On another hand I cannot see how Sephora can be held responsible for JCPenny employees. You probably can return the card and get refunded for it since you was mislead into buying it.

First off, they told me that I couldn't return it. Otherwise I would have. Secondly, I am not throwing a "temper tantrum." My orders are always f'ed up, I get double billed, never receive the samples, things I order have been opened/used, etc. So I think you would be pretty fed up too. 😉

unfortunately gift cards cannot be turned back into cash. Though a manager should want to make it right.

Well, whether I would or would not be fed up is not an issue here. You are understandably frustrated, but no need to lose it in the public forum. You have not stated in your original post whether you tried to return the card, that is why I suggested you do that. In this situation, again, Sephora cannot be held responsible for the conduct of employees of another company. But if you say you always (is "always" = 2 times or 22 times?) have terrible experience with Sephora, well, than it is pretty clear what you need to do. Hope you find a store/retailer that makes you happy.
