Faulty T3 single pass whirl curling wand - no box or receipt

Hi,

I purchased the T3 Single Pass Whirl styling wand from Sephora and I absolutely loved it! However, a few months back it stopped heating up. It still turns on but it does not heat up. I kept thinking it was going to start working again so I didn't look into this earlier... I had it long enough that I no longer have the receipt or box and I am unsure of the exact purchase date. It was an expensive product and I am hoping to be able to trade it in store for a new one? Is this possible? 

 

After looking at the T3 site in the review section, many other people have had the same issue with this curling wand. For the price, I definitely expected it to last longer. I appreciate the help!

I am having the exact same issue with my T3 wand. It turns on and I am able to adjust the temperature but it doesn't heat up. Could you share how to fix this issue? Thanks so much!

I had the exact same thing happen to my wand that I also purchased at Sephora! Was there something that I could do to fix this on my own? Thank you!

Hi, I have used the T3 Whirl Curling Wand for about a year or two now and have found to have the same problem. My wand turns on, and I am able to control the temperature, but the bar simply blinks and it does not heat up. I am bummed because I this is my favorite hair tool, and I use it very often and it still estetically looks in great condition.  It did not come at a cheap price, and I'm hoping there's a way I could get it fixed under the warranty.

I am pleased to come across this post and to learn that I am not alone in this matter! This issue happened to mine as well, and it's ultimately disappointing since I love this particular curling iron. After diligently researching how to repair a curling iron that turns on but does not heat up, it seems all of the advice is way too complex and more like something an electrician should handle (which I am most certainly not!) Any help or info you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I have the exact same problem! Lights up, can change temp but just blinks and does not heat. What is the answer? Who do I contact? For $150 this is not acceptable. I have had a $20 smaller drugstore curling iron that works just fine and is over 10 years old!

My T3 Single Pass Flat Iron has been awesome but stopped working out of the blue this morning.  Worked fine when I used it the day before yesterday.  The light turns on, but it just flashes and doesn't heat up.  Anyone know how to fix this?  It's a pretty pricey item to stop working after a short amount of time, and too pricey to just go out and get a new one.  Any help is appreciated!  Thank you!

Hello. I experienced the same issue others described. My t3 wand turns on i can change temperature but it does not heat up. I have used the wand very few times since purchasing on sephora. And expected it to last forever given the price point and how little I use it. Any help on what I can do is appreciated as it seems to have  a defect. I am in Canada.

I too have a similar issue with my single pass purchased in 2018 and out of the blue it just stoped heating. It turns on but then one only one light stays on after 30 seconds but then have to unplug to turn off since it will lot heat up.
