Eyeliner broke

I was wondering if I would be able to return an urban decay pencil eyeliner that I bought today that I broke? I opened the package so I can try it when I got home but somehow I managed to accidentally rub the tip of it onto my shirt and the tip smeared off. Now there's a little product left and it isn't retractable so most of it is smeared all over my top. I know it's my fault but I kinda feel bummed out that I just spent $25 on a product that I haven't even been able to wear yet. I don't mind exchanging it if a refund isn't possible or receiving store credit if that's an option.

I know super old post but similar thing happened to me the other day, were you able to replace or exchange it?

@cj811 you can just sharpen it to get to the rest of the liner.

Mine was a travel size bottle of perfume that rolled off the counter and broke :0/
