Expired Product Sent for Online Order

Hi! I ordered the Vita Liberata Dry Oil, Item 1796234, on April 16, 2018. Now that it is finally sunny, I went to use it, only to discover that it expired in April 2018. Why is Sephora sending already expired product for its online fulfillment?
