Exchange with Gift Receipt

I received a Benefit palette as a gift but the highlighter looks like it's been touched and smudged.  Can I make an exchange in-store with a valid gift receipt? 

 

Too many horror stories online about being banned from exchange/returns.

I'm sorry to hear this! Yes the store can assist with an exchange within 60 days of purchase with the gift receipt.
