Exchange foundation shade for a gift

Hello,

I received a Huda Beauty Glowish Tint Foundation in the shade light medium. I wanted to exchange with shade light BUT I don't have a receipt because I got it as a gift and I know my friend who got it for me didn't use her beauty insiders account. Item is barely used (one small pump to test shade and it's not right at all). 

So - what can I do in this situation when they can't look up the purchase? 😩

@NoshyNosh In order to process a return or exchange, the store would need to verify the purchase. If your friend has her receipt, you could use that.

@NoshyNosh I would recommend checking with your store directly to see if there is another option.
