Exchange for the right shade

My friend bought me a tarte shape tape in the wrong shade. I don't have a receipt for it but it is still in the box. Am I able to exchange it for the right color?

Thank you for your inquiry! Proof of purchase would be needed to process a return or exchange. If you don't have the receipt, the store may be able to look up the purchase with your friend's Beauty Insider account information. Or if it was purchased online, we can help set up a gift return on your account with the order number. Thank you!
