Exception on shipping

Hi, I ordered from Sephora on 12/25 and it shipped on 12/27. I tracked the order, and it was supposed to be delivered on 12/29. Then it when I tracked it again it said, EXCEPTION. It hasn't changed, and it is now1/9. I checked to make sure my address was right and it's the same one I always use. Was there a problem with shipping ? It was a decent size order and I ordered another one a few days later that should be delivered today and I'm wondering if the same thing will happen.
