Earn points using gift cards?

Will purchases made using a gift card count toward earning insider points?

Also, if I reach VIB on 12/23/20 will it last until 12/31/21? And if I reach it by say 1/1/21 will it last until 12/31/22?

Hi @Exuliz,

Yes. If you use a gift card on a purchase, you will earn Beauty Insider points. If you are purchasing a gift card, you will not earn points. 

If you qualify for VIB today, you will be a VIB through the end of 2021. If you do not qualify in 2020, but qualify in 2021 (January 1st), you will be a VIB all of 2021 and 2022. I hope this clarifies.
