Drop HUDA Beauty

Dear Sephora Leadership,

I am writing to urge Sephora to immediately end its partnership with Huda Beauty. Huda Kattan’s recent hateful rhetoric has fueled antisemitism, a dangerous trend that is putting Jewish lives at risk once again.

While we all care deeply about the innocent people suffering in Gaza under the control of Hamas—a recognized terrorist organization—it is unacceptable to blame the Jewish people as a whole for a complex and long-standing conflict. Rewriting history to fit a narrative rooted in hate and exclusion does not advance peace or justice. It perpetuates division, fosters bigotry, and undermines the safety of Jewish communities worldwide.

By continuing to carry Huda Beauty products, Sephora sends a troubling message that such rhetoric is tolerable in the pursuit of profit. Remaining complicit is not simply careless—it is irresponsible and damaging to your reputation as an inclusive, socially conscious brand.

Sephora has the opportunity, and indeed the responsibility, to lead by example. Dropping Huda Beauty from your stores would demonstrate a clear commitment to opposing all forms of hate, standing against antisemitism, and protecting the values of dignity, diversity, and respect.

I hope you will act swiftly and decisively. Your customers, employees, and communities are watching.

Meanwhile they lied about taking her off the fall campaign. Her photo is up there with everyone else who is in the campaign right front and center as you walk in to the store

Re: Drop HUDA Beauty

Dear Sephora,

As a Rouge member and loyal Sephora customer for over a decade, I’m writing to express deep concern about the recent pressure campaigns calling on Sephora to sever ties with Huda Beauty.

I believe in peace, inclusivity, and standing against all forms of hate and violence. However, I also believe that targeted campaigns, especially those driven by new or anonymous accounts and potentially backed by third-party interests, should not dictate the direction of a company that claims to value diversity, authenticity, and open dialogue.

Huda Kattan, like many others, has used her platform to speak on humanitarian issues. People may not always agree on the language or perspective shared, but open expression and constructive conversation are vital to progress- not silencing or boycotting based on political disagreement.

Sephora has built a brand that empowers diverse voices and celebrates global beauty. Dropping Huda Beauty would not only alienate a large segment of your loyal customer base, but it would also set a troubling precedent, that brands or individuals can be “canceled” based on political views, rather than judged by their products and overall values.

If Sephora chooses to give in to one-sided demands under pressure, I want to be clear: I will no longer shop at Sephora. I know I’m not alone in this view.

Please continue to stand for inclusivity in the truest sense - not just in appearance or identity, but in the values of fairness, tolerance, and freedom of thought.

Thank you. I appreciate this amazing community !

Re: Drop HUDA Beauty

I agree with my friend. I will no longer shop at Sephora if Huda Beauty is no longer a vendor. My loyalties will stand with Ulta Beauty and Huda Beauty.
