Dried out mascara sample

I just got the Huda Beauty mascara sample. It came with 2 different mascaras. I’m kinda disappointed because both of them were dried up. I couldn’t get any product on my eyelashes no matter what I did. I’m not that upset because It was a free sample, but I’m still kinda disappointed.
