Dr Dennis Gross SpectraLite Faceware Pro - Defective device bought in Canada

My device stopped working after 66 days I received my order. I contacted Dr Dennis Gross company and they told me that they "would advise to reach out to Sephora customer service as we would not be able to offer the warranty exchange." Sephora told me this " Thank you for following up with is regarding the Dr. Dennis Gross SpectraLite FaceWare Pro. I am unable to provide any accommodations for this item. I may suggest contacting the manufacturer to request a replacement under their warranty." "Due to you just being over 60 days from purchase I would suggest taking it to a store nearest you and seeing if you could exchange it.  We wouldn't be able to process a return on it and with the mailing process it would only delay it making the purchase date even further.  If you have anything from the maker stating its defectiveness I would bring that and ask to speak to a manager.  I want to say that we would be able to exchange it but I can't guarantee I hope you understand."

What should I do with this? Dr Dennis Gross is sending me to Sephora and Sephora is sending to Dr Dennis Gross...

Does anything like this ever happen to you and what did you do about it?

Thank you for your help.

Hi!

I'm wondering if you were able to get the warranty honored in Canada? I just bought one and read the warranty card and now I'm thinking i might return if the warranty isn't honored here.

Thanks!

Hi,

I was finally able to get my device replaced but I had to contact several people over several days to do so. It was not easy and it took a lot of time and energy. To be considered.

Hope it helps!
