Double charge

Hello, we visited sephora on 26th dec 2024 in square one mall Mississauga and when we paid with credit card the POS started rebooting and the cashier told us that the payment was not completed and asked us to pay again. We paid again and now both the transactions are posted on credit card withe each being 175$. We reached out to store but nobody is helping us at all. Its been more then 2 weeks. Every single time we call them they tell us to wait 3 days. This was the first time shopping at sephora and already disappointed. I have all the proof please help. We wang our refund back.

Update on what happened next: I reached out to the store manager again. She agreed that we were charged twice and told we would get our refund back, but we need to visit store inorder to get it. There is no way they can give our refund back directly on our visa card. My partner had to travel all the way from Hamilton to Mississauga just to get the refund. 

It wasn’t our fault at all, sephora charged us twice. They didn’t gave us a compensation for the 20$ gas that we spent to get to the store for refund. Overall not a good customer service.

@MinsiJain I'm sorry to hear that! I recommend contacting the store directly and requesting to speak with a manager so they can assist you with this.
