Does membership take some time to update?

I was $69.00 away from becoming a rouge member as I constantly was reminded by Sephora, so I decided to purchase new skin care and made a $136.00 purchase. The “thanks for your order” page said I had achieved rouge level but after closing that window and going to check if the status updated, it still said VIB. Does it take some time to update?
