Does Customer Service Exist anymore

I ordered the Dyson ceramic pop, limited edition, air wrap the first weird thing that I noticed was there was black dents in the display case, So I chalked it up to the delivery driver, being too rough with the package However, after unboxing and making sure everything was in the package, I went on The myDyson app Entered the serial number of my “new” machine  to my surprise the machine was registered to someone else the Dyson app asked if I was the new owner of this machine….this would explain the blank label over a previous shipping label and all the scratches and dents in the machine and its attachments the machine itself was dirty and the brush attachment looks like it is dusty and used so did 95% of the other attachments …I know I got this for 100$$ off but I would hope that Sephora isn’t that underhanded to knowingly try to send a used, dirty and damaged machine to a customer… to top it off I see these kind of comments way too often on here and it’s really not a fair or honest business practice to send me potentially someone else’s problem just because they sent it back within 30 days you should at least notify the customer and deeply discount the machine because it’s USED and I paid for new, I contacted an “advisor” on Sephora.com and the only advice she had to offer was go to my store and exchange it or return it by mail … so apparently the “advisor” shouldn’t be advising because this special edition machine isn’t available in stores and why the hell should the customer have to do anything in this situation ?!?!  #dyson
