Do not buy Sephora giftcards

I bought a $250 gift card for my friend. I printed it and gifted to her. A few month latter when my friend tried to use the card balance was $2.49. We both contacted Sephora customer service multiple times as well as gift card service. Sephora customer service was rude and unhelpful to say the least. All I found out from them that someone else used card online and they have their information, but can’t do anything about it. They even refused to send me an email sating they want me to call police.
