Do I need to return free sample when I return my purchase ?

I purchased Dior lipstick last week, and I got a free trial size. However, right now I have 20% off, I want to pre-purchase again the this lipstick. But the Dior lipstick already out of stock. So I need to go to store, return, and pre-purchase with 20% off. Can I do this way without return a free trial ?

You do not need to return the sample when making your return. You may keep the deluxe sized lipstick you received for free. Thanks!
