Discrimination

So I've been calling and emailing this company for weeks now about a complaint and no one has reached back to me via phone. What kind of company disregards a complaint that a customer has to do with discrimination. Four black girls were embarrassed, harassed and treated like nothing at one of your location and you don't think our voice matters. What makes you guys any better when you can't even reach out and hear what we have to say? We did not deserve to be humiliated. No one can tell me this had nothing to do with colors since we were the only "4" black girls in the store at the time. We were not disable, deaf or blind to have her shoo away like dogs. The same respect she was showing her "white client", should have been the same respect we got when we were ONLY waiting to receive our sample from another associate at the store. Why couldn't she use the other empty seat? Why was it the one we were at that she felt she had to come and harass us at and embarrass us by using hand gesture to tell us to "move, get out of here"? Is that what this company stands for? Inequality? Never have i ever gone to any make up store besides Sephora that I have felt small till this event took place and it is not okay. You treat everyone as one no matter the color of their skin. Because of you guys 3 of my little sister are now traumatized by this and will never forget the way the Sephora in "Maine" stripped them off the dignity they once had. Why does our story not matter? Why does our voice not concern you guys enough to have the "shift leader or lead" apologize to us? If your employees don't know how to approach "black people" in the right manner, then maybe the African community in Maine should be better informed to avoid any further embarrassment from the corporation. I've worked as a customer service representative at shaws and at the airport now and have never made anyone feel like they were nothing like you guys made us feel.

RE: Discrimination

I just had a similar experience and currently in the process of filing a complaint. Wondering what became of yours? I really hope Sephora takes actions against these instances.
