Didn't get points for JCP purchase :(

Went to a Sephora inside JCPenney and they didn't have the item I wanted so the guy ordered it for me online to have delivered to my house with free shipping. He said that as long as my email is the same as what's on my Beauty Insider account then my points will go through but the points haven't appeared and the item isn't showing up on my purchases. I got a confirmation email and everything, so now I'm just left wondering why I didn't get my points 😞
