Didn’t get a temporary card

Applied for a card online and after a follow up all was approved.  Was told I could immediately go to the store and charge on the new account.  When I got to the store they couldn’t find the account.  When I look in the app for the temporary card it still says my card application is under review.

I'm so sorry it is taking longer than usual for Comenity Capital Bank to review your application! I recommend waiting a bit longer for the review to be completed. If you have additional questions or concerns in the meantime, I recommend reaching out to Comenity directly. I understand this is frustrating and I apologize for the wait!

After answering questions over the phone I was told I was approved for a card with a $5000 limit and could go to the store right away and start using the card.  That sounds like the review was completed to me.
