Defective Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer Sample

Just got my order (that I made specifically to get the Tatcha sample) and I can’t get the jar to open! It’s so small and slippery with absolutely no way to grip it properly. I’m tempted to go in with a hammer just to get to the actual product!

Re: Defective Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer Sample

I just got mine with the obento box. It's impossible to open. Absolutely no grip whatsoever I'm so frustrated T^T

Re: Defective Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer Sample

I cannot get this tatcha primer to open!

Defective Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer Sample

I finally got mine open! I used tweezers and slid one side between the base and the top (if that makes sense) as far as I could until it made a popping noise, then I did it a few more times all the way around until I was able to pry it off. Now I can screw it back on and off easily!

Same with me!

Re: Defective Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer Sample

Did anyone ever get an answer on how to open these?

Re: Defective Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer Sample

@AmiVS, No, I haven't.

Re: Defective Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer Sample

I got it to work, after much frustration. You have to hold the very top and bottom of the container while unscrewing - I had been trying to do that but needed to hold lower on the white base, if that makes sense. Not the best design. 🙂
