December birthday problems

I was just wondering if anyone has ever pleaded with Sephora to offer a December birthday gift rain check?  I have been Rouge for a few years and my 4-5 options for my gift are down to 2 leftovers by the time my birthday gift rolls around.  I have plenty of Laniege lip sets, enough to last me a lifetime and I don't like the Moroccan hair oil.  I would have LOVED the perfume, but sold out.  I'd even rather just take points if I'm only left with another lip or hair oil product again.  I'd even be happy with taking a reward in January when everything restocks, because then at least I feel like I'd have a choice instead of "you get what you get".  I feel even worse for 12/31 babies.  They literally have NO choice.
