December Birthday Gift Options Suck

Every single year, I get hyped up about the birthday gifts that are offered only for my birthday month to come by and have everything be out of stock.

It already sucks to have to wait a full year to get the gifts that were advertised in January but it sucks even more to not even get the option to choose what you want!! This inventory issue needs to be addressed. This has happened every single year. Seriously disappointed.

I hear you and agree as a fellow December Birthday Celebrant. I just got off the phone with Customer Service and they say to keep checking and when I asked why aren't they better prepared if this happens every year. December birthdays are no less special and we have to wait a whole year. After a year that has been hard for everyone, a little birthday treat would be nice. They said to keep checking and that they don't know what else to offer but that we can select the same gifts as everyone else if nothing gets restocked. So what is the point of spending money to maintain a status when you cannot use it to redeem anything special come your birthday? Not even offer anything in it's place a credit etc? That is horrible customer service and makes one feel ignored and taken for granted. . .really feel the lack of appreciation or care for your Customers, Sephora way to go in not spreading the holiday spirit.

There are responses from Sephora employees on here I can see from over a decade ago, answering the same question. This is a problem every single year. My friends get real presents, and I would have changed my birth month if they didn't check IDs. I'll celebrate my birthday a little late if it means actually having a gift I can use.
