Damaged Pat McGrath Palette

Just received my box of goodies 2 days early at that! Only to find my longed for Pat McGrath palette in smithereens! I called Sephora customer service and spoke with Joy(who was a joy to work with). She is sending out another...BUT I would so much preferred if it was shipped to my local Sephora which does not carry Pat McGrath. She was told by a supervisor,  that could not be done. Why is that?? I hope the replacement does not meet the same fate as its predecessor 🤔

My Sephora is Fair Oaks, Fairfax, Va....any chance they or any Sephiras in my area will offer Pat McGrath?
